NETWORK HISTORY
The DEOR Women's Network was founded in 2007 by Andrea Cross of Across Events Management. DEOR ~ Dynamic, Energetic, Organised, Remarkable (Women). DEOR Women are women who stand out from the crowd, we have a passion for life and this includes life outside the office! We share a love of fashion, fine foods, fun and fabulous friendships.
DEOR Women Network Patron
Jeanette Powell MP—Member for Shepparton who began a women’s network in Shepparton when she was a young mum and businesswoman. Jeanette encouraged Andrea to have a go and create a network of opportunities to provide support for women.
DEOR Women’s Network Mission
Providing women the opportunity to work together to strengthen our community by empowering each other to become dynamic, energetic, organised and remarkable as we juggle work, life, family and all the bits in between, while living balanced and fulfilled lives. Our mission is to:
- Network with like-minded women and provide each other with an exchange of ideas
- Build business and referral networks
- Connect women through social events locally, regionally and nationally
- Provide opportunities to improve women’s professional (and/or business) development by attending various forums, workshops, seminars, conferences and master classes.
- Enjoy life!
